TRACEE RODERICK COMFORT, a native of Memphis, TN is a fellow of the Southern Producers Lab and a graduate of NYU (MFA, Dramatic Writing) and Princeton (BA, Politics). Tracee's film work as co-producer includes five Top Ten Short films at the Memphis Film Prize including MINORITY, a winner at the 2018 Indie Memphis Film Festival. A past volunteer at Sundance, Tracee has worked as a production coordinator on TV pilots for Color Creative and London Entertainment Group, was a field coordinator for VH-1’s Basketball Wives and works as VP, Film/TV/Streaming for BLP Film Studios in Memphis, TN. Tracee was a semifinalist for the 2019 Sundance Development Track Feature Lab, a finalist for the 2020 Black List Annual Feature Lab, a semifinalist for the 2021 Disney Television Writing Program and a semifinalist for the 2021 Women in Film (WIF x the Black List) Feature Residency program.
